A survey that establishes new boundary lines. A sketch map showing the proposed subdivision is sometimes needed for preliminary planning board approval. Suitable corner markers must be set, and a Map of Survey prepared that can be signed with any necessary approvals and recorded in the County Clerk’s Office. A metes and bounds description of the parcel to be set out will also have to be prepared for incorporation into the deed of conveyance.
